Our Roots

Building Our Village started with a simple belief: no mom should have to do everything alone.

 As a mother myself, I know how overwhelming it can feel to carry the weight of raising children, working, managing a home, and trying to keep everything together- especially when you don't have the support you need.
​
 I've learned that sometimes what a family  needs most isn't someone to tell them what their doing wrong. They need someone willing to say, "I've got you. Lets figure this out together."

  That’s where Building Our Village began.
​
  I wanted to create a space where moms could ask for help without shame, offer help without judgement, and build genuine connections with other families. A place where we can share childcare, meals, rides, resources, encouragement,  and simply remind one another that we don't have to walk through hard seasons alone.
